The Founder

Bob's Story

Founder Robert P. Skinner is a lifelong New Jersey native whose work ethic was shaped by parents who worked hard, served their community, and took pride in doing things the right way.

His professional path has included small business ownership, Wall Street, real estate, medical research, commercial real estate, and eventually launching Bob the Traveling Notary, a mobile notary business known for reliability and personal service.

Bob has seen firsthand how stressful life events – closings, estate matters, medical paperwork, and more – can be made easier when a notary combines technical accuracy with compassion and clear communication.

National Notaries LLC was created to bring that level of care to a much broader audience, by gathering notaries and allied professionals who share the same ethics, responsiveness, and respect for the public.
